Alameda Wolverines Pop Warner Football
POP WARNER IS FAR AHEAD OF THE CURVE IN YOUTH FOOTBALL
The Alameda Wolverines were first organized in 2010 to introduce Pop Warner football to the city. The Alameda organization researched and concluded that of all the youth sports programs that this was not only the most established but also the safest. The attention to safety and academics has helped establish Pop Warner and the Alameda Wolverines to become one of the most successful organizations in the Bay Area.
OUR COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS WORK TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
All coaches are trained yearly in a mandatory coaches clinic conducted by Peninsula Pop Warner and Pop Warner. Also the coaches have teamed up with USA Football with "Heads Up" safety training. With the advanced studies and training in football safety, traumatic injuries in youth sports are below that of soccor, cheerleading and most other sports.
